The moment most people hear the name "Ganga Aarti", a wonderful picture comes to mind. Majestic lamps glowing at the ghats of Varanasi, Haridwar, or Rishikesh with thousands of devotees chanting in chorus. This association is natural. But the crucial question now arises:
